With the advent of more complex dives computer, and a tendency to move towards manufacturer-specific file types and walled gardens, we decided to start the development of dive log app that is able to parse several of the more recent file types and devices. Data is converted into standard UDDF format, and the dive info is displayed. It also allows for editing of some of the dive data such as location, equipment, weights etc.
So far, the app supports:
- Garmin FIT files
- Suunto FIT files (they do not contain gas sensor information)
- Suunto JSON files (contains gas sensor information)
- UDDF, obviously
exported from:
- Shearwater Petrel
- Garmin X50i
- Suunto Ocean
